Sacrifice donation is a charity activity that is considered an important act of worship by the religion of Islam and is widely carried out among Muslims. This donation is carried out every year on the 10th day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, during the Feast of Sacrifice, and Muslims sacrifice animals in order to get closer to Allah and to strengthen the spirit of solidarity in society. Sacrifice donation meets the basic nutritional needs of those in need by delivering meat and meat products to them. At the same time, this donation contributes to the spread of a culture of cooperation and sharing in society and the strengthening of the spirit of social cooperation. The importance of sacrifice donation is of great value both in terms of fulfilling the spiritual dimension of worship and in terms of strengthening the feelings of solidarity and cooperation in society. These donations provide an important opportunity to share the joys of those in need, to give them hope and to increase the general welfare of society.

Types of Qurban Donation

These are the sacrifices made by people who are ordered to sacrifice for different purposes. Accordingly, the types of sacrifice donations that people can make to reach those in need are as follows;

A vow sacrifice is a sacrifice that is made for an event to happen and is slaughtered when it happens.

Akika sacrifice is a sacrifice made for the newborn child as a token of gratitude .

A thanksgiving sacrifice is a sacrifice made to express gratitude to Allah on any occasion.

Nafilah sacrifices are sacrifices made for different purposes, for the sake of Allah, at other times than Eid.

The obligatory sacrifice is the sacrifice that every Muslim who has sufficient financial means is obliged to make during Eid al-Adha .

A healing sacrifice is a sacrifice made for people to recover from their illnesses . A charity sacrifice is a sacrifice made for the purpose of distributing the meat to those in need .

The sacrifice for the soul is made for the sake of Allah, as a means of getting closer to Allah, and to gain reward.

The sacrifice donation has great importance in Islam and its reward is high. With this donation, the person aims to get closer to Allah and experiences the spiritual pleasure of doing good.
